Returns & refunds policy

Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

Nothing in this policy excludes, restricts or modifies those rights. If a product has a problem, you are entitled to a remedy from us – we won't send you to the manufacturer.

Faulty, damaged or incorrect items

If an item arrives faulty or damaged, or is not what you ordered, contact us as soon as possible with your order number, a description of the problem and photos or video. We may ask to inspect the product. For a major problem you can choose a refund or a replacement; for a minor problem we will fix it free of charge (repair or replacement). If the product is confirmed faulty, we reimburse your reasonable return costs, and for large or heavy items (such as boats and motors) we will arrange and pay for collection. Proof of purchase is required; original packaging is not. For defects that appear later, see our warranty policy.

Change of mind

No refunds or exchanges will be given if you have simply changed your mind (for example, you no longer want the item, chose the wrong one or found it cheaper elsewhere). Please check sizes and specifications – or ask us – before ordering. This does not affect your rights if a product is faulty or not as described.

How to start a return

  1. Contact us at sales@e-techmarine.com.au before sending anything back.
  2. We will confirm whether the return is accepted and send instructions and the return address.
  3. Pack the item securely. We recommend a tracked, insured service.

Refunds

Approved refunds are made to the original payment method. How long the refund takes to appear depends on your bank or payment provider.
